Our Service

Company

Uthando neThemba Foundation provides structured, community-based

services focused on supporting victims of Gender-Based Violence

through prevention, intervention, and restoration.

Our services include safe shelter coordination for women and children

escaping abuse, access to trauma counselling and mental health

support, and community outreach programmes that provide food relief

and essential care.

We partner with organisations, professionals, and community leaders to ensure victims receive holistic support, including legal guidance,

psychosocial services, and reintegration assistance.

Through The Ntombi Mabaso Talk Show, we extend our impact by raising awareness, educating communities, and facilitating conversations that challenge GBV and promote accountability.

Our approach ensures that every individual is supported from crisis to

stability and empowered towards independence.

Individual

At an individual level, our services are designed to walk alongside each

survivor of Gender-Based Violence with care, dignity, and practical support.

We assist women and children in crisis by connecting them to safe shelter, ensuring immediate protection from abusive environments. Survivors receive access to trauma counselling and emotional support to begin their healing journey in a safe and supportive space.

We provide essential care support, including food parcels, basic necessities, and referrals to healthcare and legal services where needed.

Beyond immediate relief, we focus on long-term restoration by offering skills development opportunities, mentorship, and guidance to help individuals rebuild their confidence and independence.

Each individual is supported through a personalised approach, recognising their unique experiences and needs. Through awareness and storytelling on The Ntombi Mabaso Talk Show, survivors are also given the opportunity to be heard, breaking silence and helping others find strength.

Our goal is not only to support survivors, but to help them rebuild, heal, and

thrive.
